These terms govern your use of www.gcraoacademy.com and your enrolment in any course offered by G.C. RAO Academy (“the Academy”). By using this website or enrolling in a course, you accept these terms.

1. About us

G.C. RAO Academy is a private coaching institute based in Bangalore, Karnataka, providing tuition for CMA (India), CA (India), US CMA, ACCA (UK) and EA (USA) programmes.

2. We are a coaching institute, not an examining body

The Academy is an independent coaching provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent of ICMAI, ICAI, IMA, ACCA, the IRS or any other examining or licensing body. Registration, eligibility, examinations and certification are governed solely by those bodies. Course names and qualifications are referred to for identification only.

3. Enrolment

• Enrolment is confirmed once the required documents are submitted and the applicable fee is paid.
• You are responsible for meeting the eligibility criteria of the relevant examining body.
• Information you provide at enrolment must be accurate and complete.
• Batches, timings and faculty may change; we will inform you of any change in advance where possible.

4. Fees

• Course fees are as quoted at the time of enrolment and are payable per the agreed schedule.
• Fees quoted for examinations, registration or membership payable to an examining body are set by that body, are indicative only, and may change without notice.
• Fees do not include the cost of statutory registration, examination entry or study material unless expressly stated.

5. Refunds and cancellation

Refund eligibility, deductions and timelines are as set out in the fee terms provided to you at the time of enrolment. Amounts already paid to an examining body on your behalf are non-refundable. For any refund request, please contact the office.

6. Study material and copyright

All study material, recorded lectures, question banks, notes and books provided by the Academy — including material authored by CMA G.C. Rao — are our intellectual property or used under licence. You may use them for your own study only. You may not copy, record, redistribute, resell, upload or share them, in whole or in part, by any means.

7. Online classes and recordings

• Access to recorded classes is personal to you and valid for the stated period (six months unless otherwise specified).
• Login credentials must not be shared. Sharing access may result in the account being suspended without refund.
• Recording, screen-capturing or re-transmitting live classes is not permitted.

8. Student portal and online examinations

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• Examinations must be attempted personally, without assistance or unfair means.
• Written answers may be evaluated automatically against a marking scheme and reviewed by faculty. Faculty marks are final.
• We may withhold or cancel a result where malpractice is established.
• Results are released as configured for each examination — instantly, after the exam window closes, or after faculty evaluation.

9. Code of conduct

Students are expected to attend regularly, behave respectfully towards faculty and fellow students, and follow the rules of the premises. The Academy may discontinue a student's enrolment for serious misconduct.

10. Book orders

Orders placed through this website are subject to availability and confirmation by our team. Prices, delivery timelines and shipping charges will be confirmed before dispatch. Online payment is being enabled; until then our team will contact you to complete the order.

11. No guarantee of results

We provide teaching, guidance and practice material. We do not guarantee that any student will pass an examination, obtain a rank, or secure employment. Any placement assistance offered is a best-effort service and is not a guarantee of a job.

12. Website use

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, or interfere with its operation. We may modify or withdraw any part of the website at any time. Content on the website is provided for general information and may change without notice.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Academy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our services. Our total liability in connection with a course shall not exceed the fee you paid for that course.

14. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bangalore, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
